Your privacy
Answer with no name.
You do not need to give a name or email to vote. A browser cookie links your votes so you can change them. The site’s hosts may keep normal web logs.
Add your name only if you want.
When you tick “Show my name with my answers” and save, your name, answers and date are public. Anyone can read, share or copy them. We do not check names.
Your email stays private.
Email is optional. If you give it, we store it with your entry and may use it to contact you about that entry. We do not show it to others, check who owns it, or sign you up for ads or news.
Change your mind.
Use the same browser, open Decide, and go to your saved answers. You can update your named entry or choose “Remove my name and email.” Your share link will stop showing your answers. Your name and email will no longer be in the public list. Your votes stay in the totals. Copies made by others and the host’s backups may remain.
If you lose access to that browser, contact the editor. We will need enough proof to avoid changing someone else’s entry.
Who runs the record?
Build Something runs this project. The site and its records are hosted with Netlify. Named entries stay until you remove them or ask us to review them. We may remove misuse, spam or false claims of identity.
